REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which Duchess Jamaican Snow Nite Bite LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may issue refunds for food orders, beverages, merchandise, catering services, reservations, and online purchases. By placing an order or using our services, you agree to this Refund Policy.

1. GENERAL POLICY

1.1 All sales are considered final once an order is placed and preparation has begun.
1.2 Refunds are issued only in specific circumstances detailed below and are granted at the Company’s discretion.
1.3 Refunds may be issued as original payment, store credit, or replacement items, depending on the situation.

2. ONLINE & IN-STORE FOOD ORDERS

2.1 Orders may be canceled only before the kitchen begins preparing the meal. Once preparation has started, refunds cannot be provided.
2.2 If there is an error with your order (missing items, incorrect items, etc.), you must notify us within 30 minutes of receiving the order.
2.3 To qualify for a remake or refund:

  • The issue must be clearly described

  • The food must not be mostly consumed

  • Photos may be requested for verification
    2.4 We do not offer refunds for customer mistakes, including:

  • Ordering the wrong item

  • Disliking taste preference

  • Failure to pick up your order

  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or third-party delivery partners

3. DELIVERY ORDERS

3.1 Delivery fees are non-refundable once the order is dispatched.
3.2 We are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or spoiled food after delivery is completed.
3.3 If an order arrives significantly damaged or incorrect, notify us immediately with proof, and we will work to resolve the issue.

4. MERCHANDISE & RETAIL PRODUCTS

4.1 Merchandise and bottled products (juices, sauces, etc.) are non-refundable unless defective or damaged upon arrival.
4.2 Defective items must be reported within 48 hours of purchase or delivery.

5. CATERING & PRIVATE EVENTS

5.1 Catering orders require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date.
5.2 Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to receive any partial refund of remaining balances.
5.3 No refunds are issued for:

  • Guest count changes within 48 hours

  • Failure to provide proper venue access

  • Food not consumed after the event
    5.4 Refunds for catered events will not exceed the amount paid minus the non-refundable deposit.

6. RESERVATIONS & SPECIAL EVENTS

6.1 Some reservations (including karaoke nights, brunch events, or private rooms) may require deposits.
6.2 Deposits for special events are non-refundable.
6.3 Late arrivals (more than 15 minutes) or no-shows may result in forfeiture of deposits or reservation slots.

7. PROCESSING REFUNDS

7.1 Approved refunds will be processed within 3–7 business days, depending on your payment provider.
7.2 Store credit refunds are issued immediately when applicable.
7.3 Chargebacks filed through a bank without contacting us first may result in limited future access to our services.
